ABOUT ME
Samantha Weber-Fishkin was born and raised in Merrick, Long Island, NY. She attended John F. Kennedy High School in Bellmore, NY, in which she was in the top ten percent of her class, and a member of many honor societies. Samantha has always had a specific interest in orchestra, softball, and dance, namely tap dancing. Samantha now studies Biomedical Engineering, with a specialization in Cellular and Molecular, at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, NY. Samantha is an undergraduate student researcher in Dr. Mary D. (Molly) Frame's Microcirculatory Laboratory and is a medical/office assistant for Dr. Peter Smith, DPM., at Stony Brook Foot Care. She is in the 5-year combined BE/MS program, and intends to graduate with her masters in spring of 2017. After graduation Samantha hopes to work in industry addressing spinal degeneration through spinal tissue regeneration.
